She had determined that Ben’s horse needed immediate surgery since there was something strange in its stomach that shouldn’t be there. She required the authorities to weigh in on a matter and bring certain equipment from the local station to sedate the horse completely.
As soon as the police came to his ranch, he let them do their business. Ben fully complied with the authorities after they insisted he accompanies them for questioning. Even though their line of questioning didn’t make sense to him, he responded truthfully to every question.
